Jim and Pat Reno live in Mayville, NY, in Chautauqua County. They are members of the Chautauqua Craft Alliance, and are active in supporting the arts in the community. Their studio is just one among many belonging to artists who make their home in the area. Having their studio at their home, allows them to mix work with pleasure, taking breaks from working with clay to pursue other interests.

          Pat, in addition to working in the studio, is enthusiastic about computers, and makes use of them for both business and pleasure. She is always up on the latest technological advances, and is quick to take advantage of them.
          Jim is also an avid gardener, as demonstrated by their beautifully landscaped property . He has a special interest in Alpine plants, and collects varieties from throughout the world for his rock gardens.
          They both enjoy world travel, and take time in the off season to go traveling. Last winter, they visited China to explore the pottery industry there, and are entertaining the idea of going back to spend time actually working on pots.
